about

Hello,

You’ve reached my personal webpage. Thank you for visiting it, I hope you will find the information you were looking for. If not, don’t hesitate to contact me.

About me

I’m a Belgian citizen born in 1986, who’s lived about 18 years in Antwerp, before studying for five years at the “Université Catholique de Louvain”, and then moving to Brussels, where I’ve been living for five years. Now I’m working part time in Lille, France.

I’ve studied engineering in applied mathematics. I think that I’m a very rational person. I have a very analytical mind which, at least, seems to function well in the financial modelling jobs that I’ve had over the years. I’ve recently changed career paths into a more IT, but also more managerial role, so I’m developing other kind of skills that are usually lacking in very analytical persons like social and managerial skills.

I have a passion for badminton, and play at Le Logis WBC in Brussels, and a little at Hem now in France.

I have a passion for computers, which you can read about on this website in the Computer Science section, or you can check out my Stackoverflow account. I don’t have much of a presence online, but I’d like to opensource some of my stuff at some point, so maybe if you come back later there will be more resources.

Finally, I have had a passion for quantitative finance, while working in banks, which you can read about here too.
